# cofou

> cofou is a headless GTM cofounder. The founder's assistant (Muse, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or any MCP client) calls cofou over MCP. The assistant thinks and writes; cofou remembers markets, evidence, plans and campaigns, enforces send guards, and runs outreach through Instantly. cofou makes no model calls and never sends without a human's approval.

## Connect

- Endpoint: https://cofou.vercel.app/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP MCP)
- Auth: `Authorization: Bearer <token>`. Create the token in cofou under Settings -> Assistant access.
- Scopes: mcp:read, mcp:drafts:write, mcp:write. There is no send scope.
- Every tool takes an optional `project` (id, name or domain). Start with `get_briefing`.

## Tools

- list_projects: projects this token can see
- get_briefing: where we stand, what changed, top moves, what needs the founder
- list_markets: every market and its rung on the 8-rung validation ladder
- get_market: one market's definition, evidence, gate and next moves
- define_market: save or update a market definition
- log_outcome: record a call, demo or deal the founder stated or a system observed
- remember: save a preference, correction or fact
- recall: search what was remembered
- find_prospects: build a prospect list for a market (max 200; may spend data credits)
- list_sender_accounts: Instantly inboxes available to send from
- draft_campaign: save an email sequence and recipients as a draft
- list_campaigns: campaigns with state and results
- get_campaign: one campaign's emails, recipients, guards and results
- request_send: returns the review link and a summary; never sends
- stop_campaign: stop a running campaign
- list_replies: recent replies, positive first
- set_plan: replace the current plan
- record_work: record work done or a decision made

## What cofou never does

- Send email without a signed-in human approving the exact emails in the web UI.
- Email anyone who replied, bounced or unsubscribed, or more than 2 people per company.
- Invent data. Missing numbers are reported as unknown.
